UAE-CHA is the first and only pioneer non-profit community initiative in the Gulf region and the Arab world concerned with the issues and support of individuals of all ages affected and who suffer from the challenges of congenital heart disease and their families, and to shed light on the effects of congenital heart disease on the patient and his surroundings.
What We Do
We're a small charity with big ambitions. The aim of our association in order to represent individuals who have congenital heart defects and improve the quality of life for them and their families, and the main goal of the association's policy is to promote and protect the rights and interests for individuals with congenital heart disease and We strive to spread and raise public awareness about congenital heart diseases and reduce health differences in congenital heart disease and educate the community on congenital heart disease as a lifelong disease (It's a complex chronic disease requiring lifelong treatment).
We also monitor life-saving research, provide reliable and evidence-based information and advocate for the needs of impacted families.
We believe changing just one child's health can provide hope throughout their entire family and community.

What is our motivation
Life is precious. And we believe anyone born with CHD deserves a full and healthy life and free from physical limitations. Congenital heart disease is the most common defect among newborns, and the incidence of anomalies and congenital heart defects in the country is relatively higher than global levels, which are estimated at about 10 per 1000 newborns. Congenital heart disease is the single largest cause of death in children under the age of one in Country.
What are our work and impact?
The UAE Congenital Heart Association is the 'Roadmap to help navigate the journey of persons with congenital heart disease throughout their lifetime. UAE-CHA work is outcome-focused and demonstrates real impact for families and the community. Specifically, we are committed to:
Advocate for the needs of people with congenital/childhood heart disease, their families and cares.
Provide quality information to guide families on their whole life journey.
Providing tools and resources to enable those with congenital heart disease challenges to manage their condition and their families.
Investigating scientific research on a global level in the causes, treatment and management of congenital heart disease.
Providing direct support services for people with congenital heart disease and their families.
Raise awareness of congenital heart disease in the community.
Educating people about heart anomalies and their implications.
