Our Ambassadors
UAE Congenital Heart Associations’ ambassadors play a vital role in helping to raise awareness in the media and the community and promoting the work of UAECHAs, they are Honorary Member who with stature and opinion and have performed great services for the country or for the association, or who have a prominent activity in the field of public services and volunteer work.

H.E. Dr. Abdulla Ibrahim Al Khayat
Dr. Abdulla Ibrahim Al Khayat is Chief Executive Officer of Al Jalila Children's and Vice Chairperson of the Board of Directors. One of the first UAE national doctors to specialise in paediatrics, Dr. Abdulla is widely recognised as one of the most eminent paediatricians in the UAE. He obtained his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1970 from the University of Cairo. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Health (UK) and the Royal Society of Tropical Medicine & Hygiene (London). In 2004, Dr. Abdulla became a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland and a member of the Gulf Chapter of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland since 2004.
Dr. Al Khayat is a Founder Member of the Thalassemia Centre in Dubai and the Emirates Medical Association since January 1982. He served as the Chairman of Emirates Medical Association from 1990 to 1993. He is the Chairman of the Dubai Centre for Special Needs since 1994, and headed Latifa Hospital as the Chief Executive Officer in 2009. He is also a former member of the Board of Trustees of Sheikh Hamdan International Award for Medical sciences.
H.E. Abdulla Bin Souqat

Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Science
H.E. Abdulla Mohd. Bin Souqat is a board of Trustees Member & Executive Director of Sheikh Hamdan Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Award for Medical Science, he is the Secretary General of National Anti –Doping Committee and the board member of Dubai Foundation for Women and Children as well as Dubai Health Authority
H.E. Abdulla. Bin Souqat holds a Higher Diploma in Healthcare Management in 1994 from the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom, and a Diploma in Health and Social Care in 2004 from the American University in Cairo.
Her Excellency Eng. Azza Bin Sulaiman
A former member of the Federal National Council
Her Excellency Eng. Azza Bint Sulaiman, a former member of the Federal National Council, Assistant Secretary-General for Administrative and Financial Affairs of the National Olympic Committee.
She is a certified trainer in the fields of human development. She is also the honorary president of the volunteer happiness ambassadors team, the Basmat Saadeh volunteer team and the Knights of Happiness for young ones. She is a board member of the Emirates Thalassemia Association, a member of the Society of Engineers, and a member of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly.
Her Excellency Azza bin Sulaiman held several positions, including Director of the National Program for Small and Medium Enterprises in the UAE Ministry of Economy, and held several positions in the Ministry of Public Works, including: Director of the Building Design Department, Director of the Government Communication Department, Director of the Housing Department, Secretary of the Projects Committee and Head of the Planning and Studies Department .
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Architecture in 1991 from the United Arab Emirates University, a graduate of the Innovation Diploma in 2016 from the Mohammed bin Rashid Center for Government Innovation in cooperation with the University of Cambridge, and completed the Leadership Development Program in 2009 from the University of Rochester in the United States.
The Emirati artist Dr.Hussain Al Jassmi
Extraordinary Goodwill Ambassador
The Emirati artist, Dr. Hussain Al Jasmi, Ambassador Extraordinary for Goodwill, undertakes his humanitarian and charitable mission, following the approach of the immortal leader, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and all the leaders of the state. These messages are in the service of his Emirati, Gulf and Arab society, within the humanitarian and awareness songs that he always presents, his activities and his frequent visits in the Emirates, and all Arab countries, which he presented and sought during his artistic career over several years.
High ranking and official authorities lauded his various humanitarian efforts. He was appointed by IIMSAM, the permanent international observer of the UN, as a good will ambassador, then was promoted to “Extraordinary Goodwill Ambassador”, becoming the first Emirati and Arab artist to get this honorable title.
Hussain Al Jassmi was granted two honorary doctorates: the first was awarded by the Arts Academy in Egypt in 2015 and the second was awarded to him by Cape Briton Government University (CBU) in Canada in 2017.
